In our latest episode of 33:45, Enzo Siragusa invites us to explore his extensive home record collection.

Renowned for founding FUSE, this episode delves into Enzo's early journey, from growing up immersed in traditional Italian folk music to his discovery of acid house & US house, pioneering hardcore breakbeat, and the emergence of Jungle.

The episode takes us on a journey through the rapidly evolving rave music scene of the early 90's and through the 2000's, exploring the emergence of new sounds and recalling the electrifying experience of hearing them on the dance floor.

In addition to showcasing the records that influenced his career, Enzo reflects on the elements of Jungle, Drum and Bass and Hardcore that have found their way into his own productions - most noticeably on his recent release ‘Odyssey’ on fabric records.

We also learn that DJing wasn’t initially seen as a career path. He shares the records he connects with fabric, talks about his signature style in Room 1, and his experience playing at the fabric Birthday alongside Fumiya Tanaka.

A big thanks to Enzo and Fuse for kickstarting my journey towards a more refined music taste and introducing me to the 90s tech-house—forever grateful.

It’s funny how much I relate to this man when it comes to his passion surrounding music, this video for some reason after 30 years has made me realise how much of a gift that is, thank you Enzo 🙏

Incredible tunes through out the video. What a legend.

Someone please upload a tracklist to all the tunes played throughout, especially when they're playing in the bg.

if you want the realness that he's touching on here when he states "west coast house", and you yearn the depths to quench yer twitch, check early Doc Martin, Jeno, and fersure Garth sets, circa 93 and so on ... I would frequent those US parties hearing early acid roots, while also getting 92 UK hardcore tape packs via mail orders sent my way which lead me to a longtime jungle headbanger lifestyle ever since ... anyway, in my elder years now, i have dug back into my crates from way back then and am constantly questioned about my selection like its all new and younger crowds consider it a refreshing futuristic experience. Enzo's words echo what I've been noticing going down recently on this side of the pond. cheers mates🤠

Great selection and a great dj. When I think of room 1, I think of Steve Bug back in the early 2000’s.

His album A Decade Of Rave is one of my absolute favorites. Spin it front to back a lot. Sounds amazing in a good system.

I remember when most dj's used to be like this. Just very knowledgable about many scenes and fans of them. All died out now...
