Aberdeen Abstract Model

We developed a three-layer conceptual model based and modified on Lefebvre's spatial theory to interpret and display Aberdeen.

The first layer represents a conception of the physical space, where the wooden blocks are the perceived form of Aberdeen. The second layer refers to the representations of space as conceived space, which is to say, as spaces as conceived by boat people and kaifongs. The third layer is the lived space that showcases the daily life and routine of residents in Aberdeen.
