This is one of the biggest gold mines from the 1800's that is on findley ridge in dahlonega georgia. It drops far down from the top entrances and opens up as it winds down still. Then it goes to some flooded tunnels hundreds of feet long.

Have you ever found a bear or something living in those caves? I saw that you heard a rattle snake one time, and bats, rats, fish and salamanders but I mean large kind of animals?

The amount of restraint it would take for me to not be catching the frogs, picking up the salamanders, holding the cute little snakes you find in these places. 😩😩
