How To Assemble the Vivere Hammock Combo - Short Version

Показать описание
Welcome! We’re going to find out how to put together the Vivere Hammock Combo in 5 easy steps.
This combo is designed for portabililty so it’s easy to stow in your vehicle when you go camping, to the beach or cabin. The Vivere Hammock Combo contains a double cotton hammock, one powder coated steel stand with hardware and one carry bag. You’ll never need to hunt for the instruction page because it’s laminated and attached directly to your carry bag.
1) First lay out your parts. For the steel stand you will have one cross bar, two leg bases and two hammock frame bars. Hardware includes five bolts with plastic heads , two j-hooks and two sets of washers with wingnuts
2) Slide the crossbar into the base leg lining up the holes. Screw the bolt into place and tighten down snugly. Repeat for the other side. Don’t forget to screw the bolt in the center bottom of the cross bar.
3) Attach the hammock frame bar by sliding onto the leg base. Screw the bolt into place making sure that it’s snug. Repeat on the other side.
4) You are almost done so take the j-hook and slide it into the
hole of your choosing on your hammock frame bar, making sure the hook extends to the outside of the frame and faces down. The curved washer on it should fit closely to the frame. Take the second washer, slide it on so the curve of the washer fits against the pipe and screw on the wing nut. Repeat on the other side. As your cotton hammock fabric relaxes slightly over time you may want to change this so that the seat height remains approximately 12-18 inches from the ground.
5) Take your cotton hammock and loop the end strings over the top end of the hammock frame bar, making sure that they are not tangled and that they lay smoothly. Loop the end over the j-hook. Stretch the hammock out and repeat on the other side. Your Vivere Hammock Combo is now ready to use for relaxing.
The combo is rated for up to 450 lbs. To get in and start enjoying, stand at the center of the hammock, take hold of the fabric, lift slightly and ease yourself down onto the hammock while holding the left edge as you sit. It will support from your head to your knees. Lift your knees up and then set your heels on the leading edge of the hammock and stretch out diagonally. This ensures that your body is aligned with the bias of the fabric which is the most supportive. It’s natural to sway with the movement and the breeze but it’s not to be used as a swing and never leave children unattended in your hammock. The cotton fabric breathes and is very comfortable. To keep your cotton hammock in good condition, it’s recommended to always unhook both ends and bring inside when not in use, making sure that it’s not damp from the weather.
At the end of the season, pack up the stand and place back in the carry bag. Set in a dry place free from small animals in order to keep your Vivere Hammock Combo ready to enjoy for the next season.
