This was extremely helpful! My mom got me this amethyst pendant when she visited Estes Park about 12 years ago. Because so much time has past, the wire wrap got brittle where it hangs from the chain and I haven't worn it for about 2 years because I was afraid of it breaking and falling off. This was the only video I could find that taught me what kind of wrap it was so I can redo it, so thank you! 😊

Yvonne, I’ve watched a lot of videos and I do have favorites (not many but a few) to which you belong to that pretty much towards the top. Thank you for being so kind. Dog gone it……I wish we lived closer to each other. I have questions that are difficult to answer unless you are right in front of me. I love when you say “it’s all art” in other words, there’s no ugly piece. Thank you. I’ve just recently watched this video (using thin wire) and I’ve watched another crafter doing typically the same wrapping with 26-28 gauge wire yesterday. I started wrapping because of the love of Shungite. Someone suggested to my daughter she needed to get me a wrapped Shungite necklace because I take on everyone’s negativity and it (negativity) was making me sick. I found a wrapped stone in Mt Shasta, Ca. It was $59. I took one look at that and thought to myself “I can do that”. It’s this piece of jewelry and how it’s wrapped I wanted to ask my question about. Soooo, that was the beginning 🤪.
