Drain and fill with about 3 quarts of HONDA transmission (recommended) fluid for 2007 Inline 4...then do it (same) again in 30, 000 miles...and you will almost be able to say it is MOSTLY clean (the fluid). That's an "eternal" filter! 😮

Is this really that simple like a oil change?? I would imagine you need a machine for the transmission fluid change like for your coolant fluid change

Is this only a drain and fill procedure? Our 06 Accord is at 180K miles, and per the maintenance history tranny has only been serviced at 53K miles? Any suggestions?

My transmission started slipping took it to a transmission shop local where I work he told me the filter was inside the transmission

You don't get all the fluid with a simple drain and fill but that's OK, you just do this every 30k or 3 years. This method is probably more gentle on the trans. Do not machine flush!
