Further evidence that the majority of the people buying these aren’t actually using them for any sort of real work other than grocery getting and pavement princessing. Makes ya wonder

I honestly like those step sides on the new super duties. At least on the 250s

Those steps are for those of us that work. And got to get stuff out of the bed often

I've liked all your videos except for this one. That step side is one hundred percent gold

Pickup trucks are about function not aesthetics. Who cares if the steps are ugly, it’s a nice feature for this type of vehicle

I have a 23 xl f-350 and in fact use the shit out of them. Standing on, stepping on, climbing up or down they do it all baby.

When i worked for the forest service we had just gotten a 23 f350 with the side steps, if you actually work they are really convenient, especially with a crossbox otherwise i could understand why people dont want them

They put the steps on modern trucks because trucks have doubled in size. Any pickup in the 2000s or before was designed where anyone could just put things in and out of the bed without having to get a damn step ladder out. Ride height isn’t the issue, they made the trucks fatter. Windows got smaller, pillars got tripled in size and the bed is taller to match the look of the cab. Any old truck has more ground clearance and you’re able to reach in the bed with no step needed. (I’m 6, 4, and I struggle to reach in some new truck beds. They’re basically useless as real trucks because you have to go out of the way to climb in the bed to open the tool box.) And one trip to the job site will rip all that low hanging plastic out from the underside.

If you use your truck bed. These steps are amazing! But majority of the people who have trucks like this hardly use them what there’re built for

Of course you work out of a shop So all your tools and equipment is in a shop, but if you work in construction, all your tools are In the truck and sometimes it's almost impossible getting in and out of that bed

I think the steps are great. Liked them along with the bumper step on the GM trucks too. I would love to see a locking toolbox get placed behind the rear wheels on both sides too, like the Titan did.

Those are actually pretty cool because I got a 2012 f250 and I gotta post up on my tires sometimes to get in the bed

I don’t like the look of the steps but I really like the functionality. I’ve aten sh1t countless times climbing on the tire and I can imagine for older folks they can’t even climb on the tire. So the step seems pretty convenient especially if you have a toolbox

I don't care what they look like.

They work, which is what matters.

Those are steps are one of the reasons I want a '23 over a 20-22 7.3. That and my dad's '22 F150 has a much more usable interior compared to my '17.

Should make accessing the middle of the toolbox easier, especially with the heavier spring pack and bigger tires.

Dude I’d love to have a side step on my 14 f250. Instead of hopping on the tire and getting into the bed to open my tool box, I got a step right there.
