Listen to the way the literal PRESIDENT talks about HALF of the population of the country that HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE REPRESENTING. And the way that he's encouraging it in his followers?! I've never heard of a president who talks the way he does about his opposing party. It's like he wants the country to tear itself apart wtf!! Does he not realize how much power his words have? Does he think this is a big game? I'm honestly so sick of it!

I remember when Obama lost the house, and the Republican speaker at the time said that the primary goal of Congress was to obstruct anything proposed by the sitting President. It was disgusting to see the focus of Congress was to force gridlock, to dismiss all ideas that came from the executive, and to refuse to work together to find common ground and solutions. One only needs to examine what years of work by the Republican congress achieved when they finally had the opportunity to propose a health care plan that was better. They looked around as if to say, 'nobody said that was going to be on the test!'. Now fast forward to the Trump situation, and the shoe is on the other foot. As much as it is tempting to do the same thing to Trump, bigger minds need to rise to the occasion. Politicians come and go, but the great ones are those who prove themselves capable of making lasting change even in the face of adversity.

We had a good day in Colorado. Jared Polis is our new governor. Our new Attorney General, Phil Weiser, will fight the trump administration like a bulldog. Democrats took control of the legislature. We passed two separate fair redistricting amendments, for congressional and state districts. And we flipped one congressional seat, making Dems the majority of our representatives in Congress.

What's the betting that the President will;
A) Throw a tantrum, claiming democracy doesn't work, or that the Democrats cheated with help from whatever "enemy" he pulls out of thin air.
B) Claim the House of Representatives is a defunct branch of government and threaten to dismantle it.
C) Refuse to acknowledge the result and insist he still has full control.
D) All of the above?
