Glad your bird is doing good :) I have a bird who used to have mites, my mother wouldnt allow to take him to the vet since she said its "too expensive" so i had no other choice but to buy the treatment myself, first i bought a mite spot-on for 15€ on amazon and i also bought a spray against mites to clean the cage, ever since that i have seen no symptoms of mites and his recovery was good. Hes currently chilling in his cage
