Dyson Sphere Program! It's here! Build and plan an efficient yet sprawling factory that spans over multiple planets and solar systems. Dyson Sphere Program is an intergalactic simulation and strategy game with the end goal of creating a Dyson Sphere. Use the power of stars, collect resources on many different planets and build a galactic wide industrial empire.
The game shares many similarities to others such as Factorio, Satisfactory etc. However it has it's own unique aspects that I expect will be a lot of fun to play with!

This is my first impressions lets play of Dyson Sphere Program. We will explore what the game has to offer together as I share my thoughts on it throughout the gameplay and playthrough.

About the game (from the steam page):
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire from scratch. In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks to virtual reality. As a space engineer, you are expected to design your interstellar factory and production lines, not to micromanage every small package going back and forth. You have to transport materials from one planet to another, forming interstellar transport teams that gather resources and bring them to where they are needed.

Having the loader go directly from the lab making the cubes to the research lab does work but you forgot to set research mode on the other lab! The loaders don't seem to grab stuff if the machine they are connected to don't take it for the current recipe.

Tip: On rotating miners, you can freely rotate it by holding SHIFT+R. I hit 9 coal veins with this trick.

I've been enjoying this game for the last few days! A suggestion: Set aside some storage containers for Iron plates, copper plates, gears, magnetic coils, and computer chips. I discovered it takes along time to automate everything compared to factorio, so having these intermediate parts on hand will really speed things up!

You can add fuel to your mech, when you have the fuel inventory open, then CTRL click in your own inventory. It'll pull all and any fuel available. Easier than dragging and dropping!

also side note: you can automate belts, sorters, etc. in the assembler-trust me itll save time if you start with automating those just like in factorio.

Got this game based on your vids and am loving it. Cant wait for the tutorials because im lost at building effective assembly lines.

Note that once you can fly into space, you need to have full power AND a fuel source. Any turn or change in acceleration causes very fast energy consumption and if you run out you can get stuck flying out into space. The research that enables flight and space flight is in the mech tech tree(upgrades tab) not the main tech tree. (Silicon and and other things are found in minable form on other planets)

im suprised this game didnt get more coverage. its like factorio but more fluid with added features of poweer armor, research, and multiople plkanets and systems for resources. tbh factorio will always have space on my hardrive, but this game is turning out to be a solid number 2.

combustion engines are really good early on, just set em up somewhere you dont plan on building anything anytime soon, and pole the power from there. smelted coal is real good to start

There is a wireless charging tower for the mech is on the first column of the tech tree, it's called plasma reformation I believe? it's below the fluid storage tech.

Also, you can unlock flight mode from the upgrades menu.

the sorters are faster is the distance to move the object is shorter, so for fast input/output keep the chest/best/machine as close as posible

Take the time to read the techs and upgrades. You can't fly because you haven't researched it yet.

Like seven minutes in and you're mucking around with the matrix labs - the reason you couldn't direct insert the cubes was that you had not set the recipe. Sorters won't pick up an item if they can't deliver it.

I've been limiting my boxes to one stack once I have production of the second stage products and it's worked well. In the very beginning, I started with boxes of only ingots and set them to three stacks to use for handcrafting.

The windmills are really garbage for power generation. I'd suggest getting the thermal generator quickly - it burns anything burnable, from leaves to oil products.

You have to unlock the ability to fly with upgrades. It's the bottom row of the mech ones (the second group is for structures, and includes tasty things like stack height increases).

The hydrogen fuel cells are below the middle line. Trace the path from the liquid storage through the oil cracking to find it.

The labs are 1:1 ratio to each other, at least for the blue cube.

Sorters will also pull from one belt and deposit onto another, just like Factorio inserters. Speaking of, DSP belts will also sideload into another belt like Factorio belts. Enjoy! =^.^=

You'll find the mech recharge tower in the plasma technology node that you need for the oil stuff. It also has a very long tower to tower connection range, making them excellent for connecting outposts.

"Sorters" are long inserters with a range of up to 3 and just like in factorio, longer range means slower insertion.
Also you have like no power. Better start thinking big.

The Splitter works as a merger/splitter if you input multiple lines. I'm using it as a 2 lane balancer atm.

25:00 it is possible with the wi fi power tower (which also functions as a big power pole)
