Dallas Zoo's Baby Dik-Dik Is A Tiny Dancer

Показать описание
Our 3-month-old baby Kirk's dik-dik, Dasher, runs and runs to his heart's content. Born weighing two pounds, Dasher’s now nearly 7 pounds of itty-bitty sweetness. He also “came out running,” hence his name. These small antelope, native to the bushlands of southern and Eastern Africa, will grow to only about 16 inches tall at the shoulder. Dasher will be off-exhibit while he gets a little bigger.

Shout-out to keeper Laura Frazier for capturing this sweetness!

Dik-Diks are my new favorite animal. I was watching a video and it mentioned dik-diks, and I was like, *"What are dik-diks?"* I looked it up and now they're my favorite by far!
