She was very very annoying, why was she so erratic. Take some money and leave town. Send divorce papers, get a lawyer. Clearly can’t even trust any of the friends in that town and even the police. Once the cop said they had been friends before her that is enough to prove they didn’t like her. She wasn’t listening at all. Just making erratic moves up and down. The police wasn’t even on her side for a long time. Just a scattered woman.
