When MLF started, I wasn't a huge fan of the style. I was so used to the 5 fish limit, I didn't like the cumulative weight limit. Over the years it's grown on me. Not simply because of the excitement, but also because they take the care of the fish into consideration. I can't stand when Bassmaster guys slam their fish on the deck.


The catch and release is great too. It gives the fish the least amount of stress. It's also been much better with heavier weight limits on the lake. It's much more fun than watching guys finding dink city and weighing in a bunch of 1 pounders.


I also dig all of the coverage and longer tournaments. I get to watch a decent amount of each day. It's definitely my new favorite pro circuit!

That fish did not hit the carpet!!! This was the best final round to date with the Tharps run then Neals run wheelers big move then out of nowhere comes Jacob P to seal the deal. My only complaint was I was at work and couldn’t watch it all go down.

I was wanting wheeler to win but since I heard that is the place where Jacob powroznik and his father fished at before he died I thank God he won the tournament because he deserved it I'm so happy for him and people say God doesn't exist he cares about his people and he is the reason he won this tournament
