This and Dear My Friend are the most heartwarming songs in the sonic franchise. They are so beautiful

The more I listen to this song, the more I begin to understand that it's less about the ending of Forces and more about reassuring the Sonic fandom that although the franchise has got its ups and downs it will always be a part of us and may lead into a bright future if we're just patient and thankful enough for whatever routes it takes. This song is so well written that it also fits a soldier returning from war. The first verse could be applied to any. Take soldiers returning from lets say World War 2. People back then lost a lot. Family, friends, their homes. So much happened back then. Sure the game fails at showing war but it’s there as a background. It’s used to build the story and Gadget’s character. I like this game for that reason. (Yes I know the levels suck but the story was ok)

Emotional, yet touching at the same time; this song fits Gadget the Wolf's personality perfectly. The song itself reminds me of my late grandmother; she died of terminal stomach cancer in 2014. The last time I saw her, she was at a hospital on the west side of my hometown of Columbus, Ohio; I hugged her one last time. A few days later, she died in her sleep; I saw her one final time in a funeral home.

This is one of my favorite Sonic songs. So inspiring and encouraging. Especially since in the game's story, Sonic and his friends have to fight hard against Infinite and the Eggman Empire for the Earth, and this song fits in well encouraging them to keep fighting and to not give up, even if they have lost Sonic.

Back here after Frontiers! I now see how this song connects to that. We had lost all hope. There is that one group of fans. Who never took their eyes of that light. The Light of Hope. We hoped and stood with our boy. His new game is the best I've seen so far! Thank you. Sonic. For never giving up! If a cartoon hedgehog can do it, SO CAN YOU! :D



Edit: After the game awards. We lost. However, this song, it connects to that. Sonic has made the biggest achievement in years. When duty called, we came together. We fought. We lost together. However, we won in a big way. We got him to the awards. I am confident that we had won second place. Still, the Light of Hope is still shining. Down the blue road.
