I remember going to a race early 2000s and you literally feel the sound of the cars in your chest. It's insane. Not sure about the new golf cart engine sounds.

Literally the sound alone of a V8 brings so much life to F1. Forget the other rules and regulations, bring back the V8s!

my dad took me to my first F1 race when I was younger at Indianapolis before they stopped racing there. We drove down there from Toronto (Canada). The sound and intensity of the cars was something I will remember for the rest of my life. I remember standing right at the wall of the straight and my clothes getting sucked towards the cars as they screamed past. I could feel it in every organ in my body. just this roaring vibrating power. I haven't been to a race since but I would be so so so disappointed if the sound and feeling was gone. Thats what makes F1 so incredible. Otherwise I might as well just play it on my xbox...

This is not Formula 1 anymore without sound. In times of Michael Schumacher there were Formula 1 when you hear the scream your heart starts to run faster. Now its only racing car.

This video perfectly demonstrates how sound makes such an impressionable difference, thanks for posting. I miss the old engines but this season has proven to be much more exciting with the new cars, it's all good.
