@AnnenMayKantereit blew me the frig away when I heard Henning May's voice. It truly blew my mind and I immediately started trying to imitate his singing voice. While that caused me quite a bit of pain, it didn't dissuade me from wanting to dig in deeper and I found out that they covered "Roxanne" by The Police with @MilkyChance. That became a must listen immediately. I love @AnnenMayKantereit & @GiantRooks cover of "Tom's Diner" and this one didn't disappoint me once bit.

This is such a great collaboration, they really are making the most of the space behind them. AMK have so much great work, both originals and covers. You have a great knowledge of music, especially the older stuff.

I love that song, they did more then just a simple cover, they gave the song their own touch, like using other instruments that were not included in the original. Henning is young and to get that voice so far with smoking he might have started as a toddler. 🤣

henning surprised me most with a zarah leander cover they did: "nur nicht aus liebe weinen". there's a busking verion of it on youtube and a live version from a concert too.
