5 Best Short-Term Investments to Make NOW

Every once in a while the market misprices a stock, investors panic sell out of a company or everyone gets on one side of a trade. That opens up short-term opportunities for investors able to see through the noise and chaos. o I’ve found five short-term investments you can make right now for double- and even triple-digit returns in less than a few months!

First, besides a market mispricing…there has to be a catalyst that can send the stock higher. Nation, even if you believe a stock is a great value, even if it’s fallen to a level that seems like a no-brainer, stock momentum will continue to take it in that direction until a catalyst, an event shocks investors out of the trend. That’s why I’m looking for some kind of catalyst with these whether it’s an earnings report or some expected news.

I also want to see a trend or industry tailwinds that could propel the investment higher. A cheap stock is one thing but a cheap stock with bigger picture forces behind it can take off like a rocket.

Pass on all the option stuff. Sticking to dividends and covered calls and short term treasuries. I do still like VICI as a reit though. Much more insulated than regular property reits.

As somebody who works on their vehicles, I would expect Advance Auto to do fine because parking lots of auto parts stores in my major city and I live in a bad side of town. The auto parts store has as much traffic or more than a fast food place. They have to keep their vehicles running to get to their jobs and the grocery store.

Why buy options when you can just set alerts? I look at 52 week lows to what’s the worst that can happen… so right now stock market is very risky position. I’m placing aap near 52 week low just in case, but I have good feeling it’s diving well below that since Amazon replaces a lot of this need drive down sales. Funny you mentioned cci I bought 1, 000 shares at 88.34 and been going up ever since! Why CD? 5% at Wealthfront for checking account
