Nice video, but it would have been much better if you had discussed other errors such as plots being turned on, or the window being incorrect (use [zoom]>[0] to fix that).

@0:09 I realised that in your [y=] screen, the icon between the blue rectangle and y1 looks like a "play/pause" button

on my screen it's just a forward slash, what does the "play/pause" button do?

Great video! I'm trying to help my daughter with her TI-84 Plus CE on this equation. y=-\sqrt{5-2x^{2}}
However, even when setting up the window correctly, the displayed graph doesn't show it connecting to the x-axis as it should. Not sure if you have any suggestions, but if so, that would be greatly appreciated. I've verified the graph using other tools such as desmos and the graph show correctly there.

My ti-84 plus won't graph anything except for x^2. For any other function it either just displays an empty graph, or even a straight horizontal line. How do I fix this?

I cannot highlighted the equal sign but mine does graph but it stops halfway through

HELP! My calculator is graphing but right after the equation shows up on the graph it says " ERROR: SYNTAX" "Check all arguments entered. Press + on the menu item for catalog help." It does the same thing when I try to use the table as well. I know I'm graphing my equations right b/c I've been using my TI-84 plus CE for 4 years. Is there any suggestions you could give me? thank you

If I type "y=5x^2 + 3x + 9" or similar quadratic equation in the screen where you typed "y=2-x^2", my calculator graphs a straight line. What should I do to fix that? It just says y=0 for every single y on the graph, but it has the right values in the table

I have this same issue, except i cant get the second graph to show, i press enter in the y= and it shows both highlighted but after a few seconds the second graph gets unhighlighted on its own

Help please. I tried doing a large multiplication equation and I always get decimals and the E sign. All of the numbers in the equation are whole numbers so idk what to do. Thanks
