Fluffy vegan PANCAKES + FOOD STYLING 101

In this video, I show you how to make ultra-delicious and super fluffy vegan pancakes and how to perfectly style them for an Instagram-worthy shot! I show you step by step how to prepare the pancakes in no time, give you tips on what you need to consider to get the perfect shot and explain in detail every step of pancake food styling 101, including the use of wooden picks, tooth picks, forceps/tweezers, Q-tips and many more of my food styling tools. This tutorial will help you to make the perfect pancakes for every Sunday morning in less than 10 minutes and even more, help you to advance your food styling and food photography skills to the next level!
Here is the recipe for the pancakes:
- in a bowl, mix 1.5 cups spelt flour, 1/4 cup coconut blossom sugar, 2 Tsp baking powder and 1/2 Tsp salt.
- in another bowl, combine 1/2 mashed banana (or 1 mashed mini banana) with 1 cup plantbased milk and 1 Tbsp lemon juice.
- add wet to dry ingredients and whisk until a batter forms.
- in a hot non-stick pan, use about 1 Tbsp pancake batter; bake until you see bubbles forming; turn and bake for 20-30 seconds on the other side.
- enjoy warm or let cool down to style them properly.
