Dr Doom is one of the deadliest and most dangerous beings in the Marvel multiverse for a good reason, the fight was insanely well animated too.

My favorite Doctor Doom feat was when Gwenpool -- who at this point in her story had harnessed meta-powers which allowed her to manipulate the formatting of comics to her advantage -- thought that she had to do something big like destroy Doctor Doom to keep existing. So she tracked the guy down, but he was going through that good guy phase, so he didn't want to fight.

No biggie. Gwenpool reached into him, extracted "Classic" Doom, then threw that Doom out of comics. As in carried him into the white space between panels and dropped him into the featureless abyss, retconning his existence.

About fifteen minutes in story-time later, Classic Doom reappeared, monologuing that while he wasn't exactly sure what type of trap he was sent to it was close enough to some prison subdimension ideas he was familiar with to jury-rig a setup to get back.

Doom was forcefully expunged from the very medium the story was being told in with no possible way to prepare or even understand what was happening, and he took less time to get back then most people take to have a good breakfast.

In on continuity, doom was burned, petrified and sent millions of years into the past. He survived, became the apprentice and the dude who did that too him, waited until it happened and then betrayed the guy to save the universe.
