The Beagle Freedom Project convinces a D.C. area lab not to euthanize 7 beagles. The dogs have been the subject of various laboratory tests for four years. This is the first time they are out of cages and seeing the outdoors. 7 foster families were eagerly awaiting their arrival.

I have signed up to support your efforts. I spread the word about what you have done and continue to do and encourage them to have a look at your homepage. It is amazing how many people just do not know what is being done to the beagle breed in pharmaceutical companies and universities. This needs more public attention. I would like to help.

False, vertebrates including dogs as lab animals are extremely regulated. Dogs are used as test subjects to do research on a variety of human health issues. Lab dogs are required to go outside to play and exercise twice a day, given toys to play with and have spacious pens to sleep in, and plenty of human interaction. Unless this "lab" was acting illegally, dogs don't live like these people are saying.
