Luxury Art Supply Christmas List 2020 Video

In this list we take a look at some of the most expensive art products on the market and for the most of us, just salivate, dream and wish that one day we can get one. However, it is important to note that these are luxury items, you can get the actual products without the expensive box sets, but sometimes, we all spend too long working and not enough time actually benefiting from the long hours we input into our work.

We are all entitled to a bit of luxury in our lives and what this list displays is some high end luxury art products that you may want to purchase for that art enthused loved one in your life this Christmas or alternatively drop that hint to your loved one looking for an idea as to what they can get you for Christmas

Most oil the items in this list I have reviewed and the others will be reviewed soon, you can see from the links below the products I have already reviewed and you can watch those reviews if you want to know more. On the written reviews I can change the prices as and when they change but on video I can't make changes.

I don't use pastels but when i see those sennelier colors... 😍🌲

As a pastel artist, I had a bit of a giggle. To serious pastelists 175 pastels is....a good start. Soft pastels don’t mix well. We can’t create colors (only layer them) so we rely on a large range of pastels to paint (unlike oil painters that need a handful of tubes to create many colors.) That being said, the Senellier set is lovely.

I suppose if I start hinting like crazy, I may be lucky enough to get one of these from my family for Christmas. Or I'll have to start saving my money, I can buy one of these on my own. HahA! Thanks Harry for posting and keep the great content going for next year.

Thank you for putting these lists together. Looking at Christmas lists in August lol! Really enjoy your reviews and seeing your art, keep seeing lovely new pencils and stuff I don't need but want! I do use everything though as I turned to art to cope with work stress and started with watercolour but now prefer coloured pencils as I can spend longer on artwork and lose myself in it. Thank you for all you do Harry, I always check out your reviews before I buy anything :)

Love the Faber Castell brush pens! I used to have a love/hate relationship with them but it’s all love now! Beautiful wish list !

Lovely choices, this video feautures some excellent picks. I personally would not spend the extra money on any wooden boxes (or maybe I would, if I had the extra money and lived in a nicely furnished place where I could properly display them...), but I 100% find that those supplies are worth buying and gifting. Schmincke and Sennelier are, as a matter of fact, amongst my very favorite watercolors, and I have just very recently gotten to know the Neocolor 2, and I just love them and cannot wait to get more colors. Absolutely lovely stuff. And of course you can never go wrong with Polychromos. I think that they will always be on every artists' gift list, they're this one product that will never go out of style and that everybody has a great use for.

I love your Christmas lists. Because of these I got the Derwent Pencil Buddy and use it everyday. I love the Fabre Castle Pitt Pens. I was so lucky, I was on a colourists swap page at just the right moment to snag a box set of barely used pens. The ink dries quite muted high I love. However I didn’t realise there were so many colours. The box is 64 I think.

I have my set of Pablos under the bed ready. Can’t wait to get them out and unwrap them. Great video. Thanks Harry. Happy Christmas to you all.

Thanks for producing this video. I live in Northumberland and have only recently started watching your channel. You come across as very genuine in your reviews and you have a great voice which I find calming.

I am currently reinvigorating my love for graphite and coloured pencils that has laid dormant for many years. I have recently developed PTSD after nearly 30 years on the frontline as a Registered Nurse. Art is part of my ongoing therapy.

The Pitt Pens are also perfect for bullet journalling. As for the Neocolor, they also have a set with both I and II. I like the Neocolor I to colour with.

Neocolor ii are on top of my wish list to get. I have set of 15, and they are amazing for backgrounds and large areas. Derwent lightfast too 😍, but I still cant decide Artists or Lightfast. By the way Sennelier also has artist grade watercolors, and I have seen many people loving those too.
