Oh great, now I have TFP nostalgia coupled with the trauma of Arcane flashbacks. 😭 It's AMAZING how well this fits together. I really wouldn't mind an Arcane styled TF series, following Prime's timeline back to the beginings of the war. These flashbacks touch on the fact that Megs had a LOT of valid reasons to start a rebellion. But TFP only follows up on the tailend of his life, where he's gone borderline insane with power and desperation. I know the books go into more detail on it, but they're not as well known as the show is. So watching Megs be painted in a different light before we knew him as the psychopath he is now (Like how they did with Jinx) would be exremely refreshing to see. They made him more of a lowkey tragic character. Within this continuity at least.
