Roblox ReShade / Shader Installation Tutorial | A Quick Guide On How To Make Roblox Look Amazing!

I am back! This time I am aiming to walk you guys through how to install ReShade for Roblox. The process is quick and easy! It's worth it too!

Hello, there, mates! AMarkInTheLight here! Back again with another tutorial.

Now, have you ever thought that Roblox looked awful to you?

Like some sort of game that was made in the stone age?

And you want to make your game look “amazing”? Something out of Battlefield or Witcher 3?

Well, with this guide, I will walk you through how to install reshade for your Roblox game.

To get started, head over to reshade’s main page. Then click download.

It will take you down to the latest version, which as of recording this video, is 4.9.1.

Then click the green button that says “Download ReShade 4.9.1”. It will download a .exe file.

When the .exe is downloaded, double click it. It will open up a window that says “ReShade Setup v4.9.1”.

After that, click “Click here to select a game and manage its reshade installation.”

It will open a new window to select the game you want reshade to be installed for.

Mine is located Under Appdata/Local/Roblox/Versions/version-***************

When you find your game, click the OpenGL option.

Then select the effect packages that you want to install.

For this video, I will be installing every effect pack there is.

When you have selected all the effects you wanted, it will take some time to download each effect.

You can tell when it is finished when you get a message saying, “ReShade Setup was successful!”

And that is it! You have installed the reshade correctly, and it is ready to be used.

However, whenever you are in-game, remember to press the HOME button to bring up the reshade menu.

The thing I hate about reshade is that in games with graphics that aren’t good, it seems to make it look like it just rained. (Well, in rdr2 it doesn’t do that.)

for some reason, the reshade message showing it has been downloaded successfully onto roblox hasn't show up, but I followed every step correctly. Why is this happening?

fun fact reshade is the same as roshade but better reshade is just way more less laggy so roshade is just a worse version of reshade

I got the shaders installed, but when i try to click home and F7 it doesn't work. I am on windows 10, too.
