Hi Victoria, thank you for this post. I am still pretty new to coding and tried to code it out before you started. I did have two questions, please. The doctor put arthritis in the assessment but stated OA changes of the knee in the major finding. I am thinking were are coding it as generic vs osteoarthritis because he did not specifically state osteoarthritis under the assessment, right? I also coded a lipid panel as well as the 99214 because the doctor stated "check fasting lipid panel today". I am thinking that was not correct because it was not listed on the form with the 99214. Would that be due to the fact that the doctor did not state, ordered fasting lipid panel to be done today? Thank you for any insight you can offer. I really appreciate your hard work with the videos you post. It has been a big help. <3
