WHO EPI-WIN Webinar: Pathogen Genomics in Health Emergencies: Spotlight Dengue

Background:
The International Pathogen Surveillance Network (IPSN) is a global network of pathogen genomic actors, brought together by the WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence, to accelerate progress in pathogen genomics, and improve public health decision-making. To inform country capacity building activities the ‘Pathogen Genomics in Health Emergencies’ webinar series aims to provide a forum for expert and evidence-based discussions on the role of genomics in the response to on-going outbreaks considering where, and where not, the use of genomics can assist in public health decision making.
Our first webinar, co-hosted with the WHO Arbovirus Team, will spotlight the use of genomics in supporting the response to the current Dengue outbreak and its role in strengthening the overall surveillance for public health interventions.
