Arizona Sheriff Mark Lamb to run for U.S. Senate

Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb has not officially announced his candidacy, but on April 10, he filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission. Lamb is the first major Republican candidate to jump into the race, running for the seat against incumbent Independent Kyrsten Sinema. On the Democratic side, Congressman Ruben Gallego declared his candidacy back in January.

I am not an Arizona resident and I might not know his political motivations, but whenever he's on Friday's w/ Frank, other ride alongs with units from Pinal County Sheriff's Office, & even Border Patrol he seems like a super chill dude! He only gets serious when he has to & seems like a very well grounded man. Our country needs Senators like him. So if I lived in Arizona I would 100% vote for him!

Not sure how this would go. Seems more into the position of politician than actually being effective. His visits to the border with politicians wasn’t very effective and he never just laid things out or made demands. Been a decent sheriff though

I’m a long time supporter of the sheriff and was happy to hear of his ambitions for the Senate, that was up until this morning when he was interviewed by Newsmax and when asked if he would accept Trump’s endorsement and instead of stepping up and saying hell yes, he sidestepped the question by replying I’ll accept anyone’s endorsement, sounded like the typical politician response. Gonna have to keep an eye on him, that’s the last thing we need in Arizona, we need people with balls like Kari Lake
