Hey Marty, I'm sure by now the free sets are long gone, but that doesn't keep me from post a comment of thanks and recognition to you for actually giving an old man 54 yo a new adventure in life. I was involved in a real bad motorcycle accident about 3 years ago and lost my right leg and had my spine shattered. As the story usually goes, My life was changed forever in a split second by someone who figured its ok to blow a stop sign at 50mph, nobody's ever coming the other way anyway. anyway after a deep depression set in my oldest daughter and her fiance bought me a guitar knowing I always wanted to learn how to play. I used the DVD that came with it expecting to be Eddie Van Halen by diner time like the DVD cover said LOL. almost gave up when I was given another 1st, a laptop, Never was a computer guy. playing on youtube one night I came across one of your lessons, I couldn't believe the confidence I got and the desire to just play and practice your stuff any chance I got because I was able to at least feel like I was getting better being able to play a few easy songs, Life has been a lot better since, I'm about to attack this next lesson for Smooth. One of my favorite songs, Its definitely for a more experienced player but the challenge is the fun part now, It will take a bit but Ill get it eventually, so here I go and thanks a lot man for giving me something to get excited about again.
P.S. I'm still not up to snuff with Eddie Van Halen but he butter start looking over his shoulder, , , ( CHUCKLE, CHUCKLE.CHUCKLE.)

Man I love this song and especially this channel. I'm barely 16 just got done with guitar 1 in high school now moving to guitar 2 but now I think I really found my passion. My inspiration came from many guitar players and bands such as ACDC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Santana, Guns n' Roses, Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and many others. The way you teach guitar is awesome. You can get a beginner like me to learn amazing licks in just a matter of minutes. I like the way you slip in a little theory here and there as well while you're showing us the notes.
