We bought a 2015 Audi A3 TDI and plan to purchase a pre-owned 2016 Audi Q5 premium plus 3L V6 with TDI diesel engine after the VW emissions scandal went public in September 2015 because it was an open secret—now explained by emissions control defeat software—that TDIs get great mileage, often better than EPA estimates. And our A3 TDI has not disappointed, powerful, smooth and fast turbo engine, but no too noisy.

I've got this car and love it, the only downside is the drivers footwell is cramped and dead pedal position is awful.
