Just watched the course. We really appreciate the time you take to make these courses and YouTube tutorials. And I can tell it would be very helpful to anyone new with Fusion. If there’s one thing I need to get more efficient with (or should I say Fusion should be more efficient with) is text animation. Even after using it for two years I have to admit that animating text is very cumbersome compared to After Effects. Would really love to see an in-depth course on this. If Fusion could totally revamp how it handles text it’d be a game changer. I personally find it ridiculous that I have to right click in the text panel and select character level styling when I need to adjust individual characters and words. It’s really easy to lose where you are and how the animation parameters are buried deep in the panels.

Hi Casey! Recently discovere the channel and I have a question since I can see youre a master at Davinci! Why does the dynamic zoom (at least for me) shrinks when i apply it to my video sometimes? I use it very often and its always a 50 50 chance i get it big and normal and then small 😢 its kind of a headache and idk what to do about it

Hi Casey, this is an unrelated question but I’m a bit stuck - I’m trying to create an efficient workflow where I’m editing footage (11 long-form interviews) in a language I don’t speak. I transcribed and translated everything in English on a separate platform and imported each interview with the subtitles into individual timelines.
I’m currently creating in/out points in timelines to find the right dialogue, going back to the source clip viewer, then inserting on my master timeline so that I preserve the subtitles. I feel like there must be a more efficient way to do this, but I haven’t figured it out. Any chance you know anything about this? Thanks!!
