The main question should be how was he able to buy the guns in the first place. He has just been released from a mental hospital. In my country, you can buy guns however you need to have people willing to vouch for you. There's a background check on you also. All guns must be kept in a gun safe or for a single it must have a rifle lock. Just a thought
