Biden Administration To Lift Title 42 In May

Title 42, the pandemic era policy put in place by former President Donald Trump to prevent the spread of Covid-19, will end in May. The policy lift means that families and single adults coming across the southern border will be able to claim asylum. NBC News’ Julia Ainsley explains how DHS is reacting.

Title 42 has never been enforced anyway so this won't make any difference. When I immigrated (legally) to the USA, I had to have a background check, go to a police station to have fingerprints taken, and had to pass a medical exam which included a blood and urine test. People coming over the border could be carrying a lot more than just Covid.

Well.. if Title 42 is ending then on plus side Pandemic must be over. If Pandemic is over then Kids can go back to school w/out masks, federal mandates must end, state mandates must end etc. Right?
