It was not long ago that a major Russian Warship (In June 2010, Varyag, under the command of Captain Eduard Moskalenko and with the Commander of the Northern Fleet Combined Forces Rear-Admiral Vladimir L. Kasatonov embarked, made a port call to San Francisco) visited an American city under goodwill..
Now we are once again adversaries. That was probably the closest to peace we ever came to. Now there is a threat, or possibility of war.

Not only Russia, but India already has their naval forces near Iran. The US would have to consider fighting two of the strongest navies if Israel decides to escalate the war. China would not even need to send their naval forces at this rate and the US would be heavily pressured on all its fronts.
