if you are looking for a great 50 prime. do yourself a favor and buy the Sigma 50 f1.4 Art lens. its got better image quality at half the price. the only reason to buy the Canon is if weather sealing is really important to you

I love my Canon 50mm f/1.2 it really is a wonderful lens. Sure it is not as sharp as the 85mm f/1.2 but if you want a lens that really does give you beautiful images especially that can look soft, it really is fantastic. Anyone who thinks of buying it it's worth it, just look up the images on Google for samples.
