Chamisa and Mnangagwa differ on the course for Zim dollar

Zimbabwe's economic fortunes are once again in the spotlight as the country prepares for its general elections on the 23rd of August. Over the past two weeks, the value of the Zimbabwean dollar has dropped drastically. It now trades at around 7 000 Zimbabwe dollars against the US dollar at the black market rate and 5 000 Zim dollars using the government-controlled interbank rate. On the first of this month, it was trading around 3 200 Zimbabwe dollars to the US dollar on the streets and 2 500 on the interbank market. Although the country's monetary authorities tried to introduce a raft of measures to stop the value of the currency from plummeting, their efforts have not had significant results.

There's no failure which is greater than that. Boreholes in towns and cities? Is that moving forward or backgrounds? People should vote for change of leadership to bring back Zimbabwe to Ian Smith pounds and shillings currency since zim dollar failed to pull forward. You don't come from failure to higher but to go back where things were. A country is identified by its currency of which Zimbabwe currency doesn't exist on world money market meaning that citizens are living under a dubious lifestyle of living without local currency.
