Queen Therapy

The Fruit finally uploaded, and we have Queen to thank, again.

This really happened.

As you know, I started working a full-time job back in March 2024. Good news is, I have been confirmed as an official employee! Bad news is, I find it harder and harder to restart my "engine" after a long pause of not making contents because I have to prioritize office work.

My job is not tiring, in fact I'm quite happy working there, but it's the early mornings, the daily 3-hour commute, and the insufficient sleep that's draining me. Every week I look forward to the weekends, hoping that I can create contents or make some progress, but I keep failing.

Why? After some sleep catchups, house chores, family outings and shenanigans, it's Monday again. I'm regularly torn between getting some rests and making contents, but I always end up with neither. As the cycle goes on, I'm beginning to feel anxious again.

Long before I started working, I knew getting a full-time job would be a death sentence to this channel. I tried to deny it. I would finish my work as fast as possible so I can have some free time to work on contents. But one day after finishing my tasks, I just sat there and stared at the keyboard... I couldn't move. I know what I need to draw, but I couldn't lift the pen.

I feel overwhelmed by everything. The tiredness, the disappointment of not getting anything done, the fear of running out of time... I don't know what to do.

Then I remembered the time Queen saying this tree is dead and I should plant a new one... Yes, QUEEN! I can ask Queen!

And miraculously, Queen replied: "Draw me."

Queen quoted Jeff's line from Draw Jeff Challenge: "Drawing me makes you happy". It's a simple advice, AND IT WORKS! I drew the ever majestic and beautiful Queen, and it made me happy and motivated again.

Thank you, Queen.

Of course, Queen's lap pillow doesn't come free, there's a price to pay. Fruit now has a promise to keep, so expect to see more King and Queen contents in near future :)

If you're an artist who's in similar situation, try drawing yourself hanging out with your oc. You may say I'm being delusional, but it really helped to get me drawing again.
