TORO ROSSO: SECOND SEAT

"Our latest Formula 1 2018 feature on Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda.

Red Bull B-team Toro Rosso is a key focus as the F1 world championship moves toward to its conclusion at Abu Dhabi’s state-of-the-art Yas Marina Circuit on November 25 - with the rumour mill in overdrive over who might be in the second seat alongside Daniil Kvyat.

At the moment, it’s New Zealander Brendon Hartley’s drive to lose, with the 28- year-old given four more races to beat Pierre Gasly - who will head to Red Bull Racing alongside Max Verstappen next year. Watch the video, and tell us what you think in the comments…

I suggest to leave Hartley there to be teamed up with Kvyat. He's had a string of bad luck this year, especially with the accidents he sustained at Canada and FP3 in Britain. He is a viable racer, he deserves a better chance. And for Kvyat to come back, I for one support that. Letting him go like that in 2017 with just three races left was an unfair decision

Brendon Hartley and Daniil Kvyat are both better at driving than Dr. Marko is at running his junior team. Pitiful.

Brendon Hartley has taken a lot of penalties in the name of mechanical failure, being hit by other drivers combined with testing and development for the Honda engine and that has hurt in the points. However with Gasly going to Red Bull having an experienced driver to keep continuity with Honda and the Team is a big plus. Now lets hope that new engine will give Toro Rosso wings.

Pascal Wehrlein is now part of Mahindra racing in FE and was at the Spanish FE testing this past weekend, so his F1 possibility is over. He is in Formula E.

It must be Hartley. Why? Well RB doesn't have anymore driver atm. They even had to call back the Torpedo to fill the seat left by Gasly.
