I genuinely don’t know how I ended up here, but the amount of misinformation being passed around is wildly impressive—for all the wrong reasons.

Let’s clear a few things up: No, you cannot download Microsoft Access or Publisher on a Chromebook. That's not a "your settings are wrong" issue, it's a "Chromebooks aren't Windows machines" issue.

And those Android versions of Word, Excel, etc.? Please. They’re diet apps—missing half the features and all the flavor. If you're expecting the full-fat Windows experience, you're gonna be disappointed. It’s like ordering filet mignon and getting a Lunchable.

Also, can we stop pretending the N-series chips are some magical leap forward? Intel didn't reinvent the wheel—they just retired the Celeron and Pentium names and slapped a new label on what is essentially the same budget-tier silicon. Just to keep it real: a 10-year-old i7 still runs circles around the N100.

I’ll just say this: i3-1215U / 8GB / 128GB — $251. You do the math.
