To anyone who might be wondering why Selemene was defeated. In Dota the "Gods" are powered by the faith and belief of their followers, in this scene Invoker basically made a lunar eclipse? Basically he turned the moon red and Selemene's followers couldn't feel her presense and their faith waivered so Selemene was basically weakened when she fought Terrorblade.

Okay, Terrorblade was pretty much right about everything he said, except for one thing. Selemene's heart isn't rotting because of the death of her daughter because she doesn't truly have a heart.

I know nothing about Dota, but I love this scene, because someone finally puts Selemene in her place and calls her on all her hypocrisy. And he does with with such swagger.

Gameplay aside, this really portrays TB's character so well. Arrogant yet somewhat right. Many people like Selemene are sanctimonous, the one thing Terrorblade hates. It even reflects his power very well. Having mastered his own worst self, it's only natural he would be at least this strong

Something I did like about this series is the way terrorblade fights, and I'm not talking about the physical way but what he says to his foes, he literally makes them confront the reflection of their own demons, tormenting you verbally and breaking your mind before he even attacks you

Funny how Selemene is so offended by Terrorblade saying her daughters name when she let her die because she wouldn't worship her

This scene alone made the series worth watching. Seeing Selemene humbled by Terrorblade felt so incredible good.
After all she did to the Elves and especially Invoker, she truly earned very second of it.

I love the detail in this fight. Specifically, the rings shuddering when her hands trembled. Her reflection thrashing about then glaring at her. The fact blood came out of her mouth on that final throwdown. All epic.
