It's super nostalgic! We were just here last March to film one of our latest episode and it is such a place where even the cherry blossoms have a strict dress code. The temples here are so serene they make yoga instructors jealous. And don't even get me started on the bamboo forest – it's like nature's version of a high-end spa. The only thing missing is the pandas practicing Tai Chi. Would love to be back here!

We just came back from Japan for a month. We were also there for a month last April. Love Japan ! Timing is the key - best to see in peak sakura peak autumn and also always be early to avoid the crowd. This year we experienced onsens, ryokans and public baths and we avoided baths with tourirsts, it must be with the Japanese because they are very respectful and they know the onsen manners well. We also love restaurants and dining with only Japanese because they are very quiet ! We experienced Japanese fine dining in a 300 year old previous home of a rich family. Finished 10 prefectures so far. Aim to finish 47 prefectures. Always going back !
