I know that I may come as a hater even though I'm a huge fan of Car Throttle but those hp figures may be too much for the english shitty weather but in many other places which the sun is actually existent and have dry roads you can easily manage 700 hp. Just sayin'

Yes, the Hellcat's have too much horsepower, No they wouldn't be as popular if they had less. Look at all of the other trim levels for the Challenger and Charger, unless you're a Mopar fanboy (guilty) you don't even know them. They fade into obscurity, whereas the Hellcat makes it's presense known. Picture the Hellcat's as the Geico Gecko or Lucky Charm's "Lucky". They accomplish very little in the way of directly making the company money, but they are recognizable and memorable, and for that, you don't have to be practical (<3 Hellcat)
