Why people are leaving California and why I didn’t plan to stay there.

But for real it’s crazy to see how many people are leaving California, New York & Chicago and moving to places like Texas, Florida, Tennessee & Arizona.

California is my native place and I still have relatives there. I love visiting but I’m so glad I don’t live in California. The ROI isn’t worth it and the government policies there will keep ruining such a beautiful state sadly.

I moved from California to Connecticut a month back and I don't like it here. I will move back to California in a year. There is no other state like California ❤️

You CAN NOT go to Walmart and just pick up a gun in any of the 50 states. You still need a background check and the gun transferred to a license dealer.

I think you will all find that Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, and Arizona are the better places to live and work! Also, some of the ‘lesser known’ states actually have a lot of positives as well. USA prides itself on being so decentralized, so if you’re thinking of moving try something else beyond NY, IL, CA and WA!

As someone who lives in California, I can totally relate to your views here. Especially about the intercultural friendships. There are many positives about California like the beach and the mountains. There is a lot to do outdoors here 365 days a year as compared to other states. But the main reason people are not able to enjoy everything CA has to offer is because they have to drive everywhere. Public transport is pretty much non-existent here and sitting hours in traffic is not worth it anymore.

Also find how many come here- this applies to all metros not just US- in india also you will see people move from expensive places from Mumbai or Bangalore- but the influx is just alot- all is governed by the number of opportunities- California and bay area especially is blessed with great weather- so whatever you say, some would leave, but the area would always be desirable- i know some who left and just not happy- some even came back!

Clarifying on PICKING UP GUN FROM WALMART IN TEXAS-
First, Walmart doesn’t sell GUNS or commonly used ammo like 9mm, 223 Rem, and many others since Oct 2020.
Second, You cannot buy a gun without going through a Federal Background Check, same as in every state.
