I wouldn't necessarily blame that on the kid, if your friend is doing a line you should make sure nobody gets in the way. BMXers always do super long lines across the whole park and unless you've seen them attempt the line before, it's very easy to get in their way.

У нас в городе построили первый памп-трек, центр города, аллея (Россия, Рязань). Его тут же оккупировали дети на самокатах. Иногда их столько, что на трек невозможно заехать. Возраст до 14 лет. Бывает даже 7-10 летние заезжают. Чаще одни. Но иногда рядом стоят родители и смотрят бестолковым взглядом. Рядом стоит щит с правилами нахождения в зоне.
При этом, 95% детей без всякой защиты. Даже девочки, в которых килограмм 20 максимум.
Мне 31, во мне 80+ килограмм. Приезжаю туда на 29" эндуро или 26" дёрт велосипеде. То есть общая масса под 100 кило.

И вот на днях такой день. Решил перед сном вечером прокатиться. Дождался свободного окна, поехал. Сумел проехать всего круг, нагнал детей, которые постоянно подрезают и съехал в безопасную зону на центр трека.
И тут вдруг понимаю, что мне кричит какая-то женщина. Поворачиваюсь, спрашиваю, что надо. А она требует меня ездить медленнее, потому что тут дети.
Я уже был на взводе и повысив голос отвечаю, что детям тут вообще не место, это не детская площадка и указываю на стенд, чтобы она пошла читать правила.
Сзади меня какой-то подросток тут же меня поддержал.
Но женщина снова повторяла про детей. Я снова повторил ей то же самое. При этом, вокруг толпы народу, других родителей.
И вдруг меня начинает поддерживать один мужчина. За ним ещё один. Через несколько мгновений уже где-то 5 мужчин возраста 40-50 лет отчитывают женщину и тоже отправляют читать правила.
Неожиданно, но приятно, что меня поддержали. Потому что очень много современных родителей сейчас, видимо, потеряли разум и считают, что всё на свете исключительно для их детей.
Женщина не выдержала натиска, согласилась, что мы правы и ушла.

А ещё чуть ранее я катался там ранним утром один. И туда пришёл единственный отец с ребёнком. Видел, как я езжу. Но выпустил туда своего ребёнка и стоял смотрел с тупым лицом не обременённый интеллектом, как его сын подрезает меня 3 раза подряд и продолжает смотреть. Я не выдержал, пошёл прямо к отцу, отчитал его, тоже отправил к информационному стенду и они тут же ушли его читать.

К слову, на треке за 2-3 недели уже было несколько серьезных травм.
И самая первая и самая тяжёлая, когда ребёнок без родителей катался по треку на самокате без защиты, причём даже не в кедах, а в Crocs. Упал, не понимаю как, но открытый перелом, ему чуть не отоовало ступню сзади, крови было море, с него просто хлестало. Увезли на скорой 🤦🏼‍♂️

If you ride, you ride at your own risk. If you can’t understand that, you should not be here. Idc if you’re butthurt. Bodies are flying in these types of environments. Everyone should be able to ride which is all the more reason that this idea needs to be enforced if you choose to participate. Safety and awareness. The two go great together.

For people saying that it wasn't the kid's fault: I'm not gonna start a whole ass argument, but here's what I think: sure, the guy riding could have looked out for the transition ramp. But looking at the way that ramp is placed, I reckon it was meant to be transitioned into. And that kid was already on the ramp when he was in the air, meaning the kid probably would have had time to look out for himself. Once you're on the line and committed, it's difficult to watch out for others, and I say that as a rider. And even the rider did check the line beforehand, I'd safely assume that the kid jumped onto the ramp when he was in the air or on the edge of the transition, making a look-out very difficult.
