Thanks, but I thought you were going to calibrate it. You actually just showed how to read and simulate. I really wanted to see how to calibrate.

Very well executed. (CaL tech here) you nailed this! Excellent explanations and delivery to further understand these types of sensors/transmitters thanks so much!! my only recommendation is to use a holder around your next for your camera so your both hands are free for more excellent teaching!!! haha cheers and thanks so much!! (volume was also pretty low but putting volume all the way up solves that :D) Thanks again!!

I learned a lot from the video tutorial, only confused about, why we connect the multimeter(fluke) in parallel with transmeter when we want to measure amps??? I thought that we connect it in parallel only when we want to measure volts, and in series when we want amps.

Instead of a calibration check, do you have an actual calibration video?

You told the wrong concept about D to A conversation

Someone trying to learn here so go easy, here in the UK and probably the rest of Europe, insulated crimps are colour coded according to the size of conductor they take, red is up to 1.5mm^2 (16awg), blue is up to 2.5mm^2(14awg) and yellow is up to 6mm^2(10awg) how comes that thermocouple has a red and a blue on it? is it different in the states? are the wires varied sizes? or just the installer used what they had?

nice one. but is it with the assumption that the transmitter is already calibrated?

Where is the Rosemont getting its power from? The fluke or the hart?
