In this video, Steven presents the next artist in the Artist Tone series, Thrice! This was an incredibly challenging piece to try and really nail the vibe. Thankfully, I had a lot of help from some amazing musicians and engineers. I hope you enjoy this performance portion of the series and tune in for the next episodes where I break down the tones of the bass and guitars. In those episodes, i'll release all the presets created during the production of this track(some need a little explaining and special routing) so you all can use them in your own productions.

I love this song. I immediately grabbed the STEMS to practice mixing. This is awesome but is anybody else having a hard time getting the Kick.midi file to line up with the rest of the tracks?

I'm curious about what was the signal chain after the SM7B recording the vocals. Assuming the performance was captured in the room showned in the video, even considering the fact the the sm7b is dynamic and that therefore you can get away with an untreated room, it's still stellar.
