Clock ticks down in search for missing Titanic tourist sub l GMA

The deep-sea vessel, operated by OceanGate Expeditions, lost contact about an hour and 45 minutes after submerging on Sunday morning with a 96-hour oxygen supply.

I do believe this is the official end of Titanic dive tourism. I can’t imagine how much this rescue/recovery operation is costing.

Did I miss the reason why the submersible is bolted from the outside? Even if it comes to the surface, they will not be able to get out. This is a very scary situation, and I'm hoping for a miracle.

What I don’t understand is why are people still going down to look at a sunken ship??? Nothing has changed about it since the last one thousand times that we have seen it. Now this ship will probably claim 5 more lives. Leave this ship Let it rest in peace.

They’re calculating the oxygen in the wrong manner. They may have 24 hours of oxygen left if you’re breathing normally, but those five people are in serious panic mode. And when you’re panicking, we all know how your breathing gets.

I just don't understand how people with so much money, and experience would get on this craft knowing that is not regulated or tested properly. Its crazy to me! I hope they find them alive, can't imagine the horror they are go I ng through right now.

They’re trying to effectively find a minivan in Connecticut 12, 000 feet beneath the surface of the ocean, and unless it’s brought to the surface in a matter of hours they’re dead? We might as well stop calling it a rescue mission at this point…

There was a friend of the passengers that was SUPPOSED to go...yet changed his mind due to risks on the sub. Although, he wouldn't get into details. I for one, think that says enough🙏🕊🙏
