We have been recommending to my clients to get an intermediate level of French ( CLB 7) since 2020 and most of them listened and now they have been getting ITAs since the fall of 2023. Great recommendations Mark!!!!

My current CRS points is 478, I am planning to study Healthcare Assistant diploma this summer (we are that batch of people who were allowed to study in a post-secondary institution while on a PGWP - just to increase our CRS points). Money is not an issue as I've already saved enough funds for my back-to-school studies. It seems I have to find a "targeted occupation" to increase my chances of getting that PR status asap. I still have 2 years remaining for my PGWP tho. I love Canada. And I don't want to move to another English-speaking country like Australia and New Zealand. Canada is home and I will fight for this country.

I have foreign experience for 3 years but I didn't mention when I applied for a study permit in the beginning in 2018. Now I want to mention for my PR. Because That time the then Employer give me the experience certificate.

What about if the candidate before his WP expires, applies for a visitor record gets a remote job outside of Canada and accumulates 6 months and goes back to the home country for 6 months and accumulates 12 months of foreign work experience (remote)

Hey I have studied one year in Canada from the university of waterloo. However, I'm not getting the 30 extra points for the study in Canada? Is there something I'm doing wrong? I would love to get your opinion on this issue. Thanks

Really appreciate the knowledge you are sharing with us. i came as an international student in 2019. I completed my study paid my taxes work hard to survive and hoping to get PR. But my points are not enough to be qualify. I went to immigration consultants discuss my cases with them all of them are suggesting me to get a LMIA. But in the market LMIA cost $40, 000 and there are tons of employers you are not paying taxes to the government. There are tons of people out there who cannot afford $40, 000 LMIA. Permit is going to expire.lack of jobs and still LMIA Prices are Touching the sky . There should be another pathway for the people who are already in the country paid their tax looking for mercy from immigration decision.

Or apply for a provincial nomination. Yes, longer and more expensive, but one of the working options.

I appreciate what you are doing for all the immigrants here. I really want to consult with you personally, but I have 6Months left in Canada. And I'm pinching myself not to spend too much because what if I have to go back 😅

You forgot to mention the public policy in place until February 2025 in which candidates can apply for an LMIA closed work permit with visitor status or wait until CEC draws resume during the new LMIA validity time of six months. While there are unscrupulous and money hungry consultants that promise LMIA approved jobs and charge an arm and a leg to applicants who risk themselves with this "shortcut" it is up to candidates to decide which is the best pathway for them. BTW there is a girl who posted a video in which she claims she got her ITA while on visitor status after her pgwp expired as none of the other options( LMIA, PNP, ) were suitable for her. Going home is not always the best option, it depends on the particular case.

I have one question - Whether remote work for a Canadian employer done outside Canada (from one of their office locations in India) can be counted as Foreign work experience, while still being paid in CADs to a Canadian bank account and paying Canadian taxes? So, I have been working for a Canadian employer for last 3 years, the initial 1.5 years were inside Canada and then I got relocated to India on a temporary basis and started working from one of their Indian offices and have been working from here since last 1.5 years. Can I count this as Foriegn work experience?

Hi Mark, your video is very interesting! Thanks for your sharing of the great contents here! By saying a foreign experience is a bonus here, does the foreign work experience need to be same as the Canadian work experience? (in the same tier or occupation group)

Hello Mark, thank you for everything I just have a small remark to say to you regarding our friend no chance, his age must also increase (do not delay to 27) when he accumulates experience. Thanks again
