Starting with a beautiful sunrise, our journey continues from our anchorage on the south west tip of Fuerteventura over to Marina Pasito Blanco on the southern tip of Gran Canaria.
We hire a car and travel up to Las Palmas where we visit the marina to see the ARC boats assembling for their transatlantic trip later in the month and also attend our appointment at the travel clinic to get our vaccinations for our mission trip to Nigeria in February.
We have a wonderful visit with cousins Steve and Viv in their hotel in Melanores, just a few km from Marina Pasito Blanco before sailing up the coast to Marina Puerto Rico.
Three days later we are away again back down the coast the way we came and up the Eastern side of Gran Canaria to the anchorage at last Palmas - in the boat this time - to prepare to get checked out of the EU and set sail on the next leg of our transatlantic voyage... to Cape Verde.
