Kastro beach Lefkada Greece

Kastro beach is the first beach one can visit entering the island of Lefkada. It is part of Gira beach and very easily accessible by a paved road. It has free parking available next to the beach. There are buses serving the route, but you can also go on foot, about 15min. walk from the town. Kastro beach is a very long white sandy beach with crystal clear blue waters. Apart from white and gold sands, and clear blue water, Kastro beach offer unique proximity to the town itself, which makes them popular among locals as well as among tourists.
