What's the best way to thaw steak? There are two simple options to defrost frozen steak.

Refrigerator Thawing:
A day before you’re going to cook your steaks, just move them to the fridge, still in their vacuum-sealed packaging. When you’re ready to cook, so are your steaks.

Quick-Thaw Cold Water Method:
Fill a large bowl or the small side of your kitchen sink with cold water and drop your vacuum-sealed steaks in. Depending on the size of your steak, it’ll be ready to cook in anywhere from 15-40 minutes!

An important thing to note, that I've only seen in one other video before this, is to *never use hot water*. My steaks kept turning grey, but apparently you should only thaw with cold water, replacing it every thirty minutes with fresh cold water.
